Fishing and visiting our Waterside Parks in lockdown

Following government guidance review we are able to confirm that our Waterside Parks and reservoirs will continue to be open throughout the next national lockdown for you to enjoy, both for exercise and fishing.

Outdoor exercise is a big part of looking after your mental and physical health, and you’ll still be able to take your exercise on our beautiful sites.

All our Waterside Parks and reservoirs that are open for winter fishing will also stay open from 9am to 4pm and tickets can be booked online in advance of the day you plan to visit.

Obviously, these are difficult troublesome times, so please respect other visitors and our teams, abide by the signage and follow the hands, face, space guidance.

While our shops will be closed from Thursday 5 November to Wednesday 2 December, our car parks and toilets will be open, alongside our fishing offering. Although our shops will be closed, our rangers will still be on site to carry out safety patrols and be on hand to help and offer advice.

When visiting to fish please remember to bring with you enough bait and tackle for your fishing trip and a copy of your permit confirmation. For all anglers to be able to enjoy their sport, we must follow the guidance from the Angling Trust to stay safe.

When visiting our sites please stay local, only visit with your own household, your support bubble or one other person from another household, wear your mask, wash your hands and keep a safe distance from other visitors to our sites.
