Catch of the week:

Dave Oakley landed 3 nice trout around 3lbs in weight including a stunning 3lb 2oz rainbow fishing out in front of the School Bay on Orange PowerBait. Fly anglers Ian and Denis also had a great session landing 10 excellent quality rainbows between them

Best area and flies:

School bay, The Natural Bank, Middlemead and the large Valve Tower have fished consistently well this week. Dark patterns have done well with a flash of silver or holographic material tied into the body. Various Buzzers and Tadpoles have also produced good results.

Best areas & baits / lures

Garlic PowerBait has done well along with Corn and Chartreuse coloured paste. Worms have done the trick for a lot of anglers along with small spoons and spinners.
