This group set up to make it easier for disabled sailors to sail boats that have the stability and ease of control. The tidal nature of local Essex rivers and estuaries make handling and launching sailing dinghies difficult for disabled sailors so the Hanningfield Sailability Project has been created to overcome this hurdle and is based at Hanningfield Reservoir.
