With welcoming and relaxing facilities a day at Hury is one to enjoy. There is a circular walk around Hury, although this is not a multi-user track, and the perfect picnic area sits on the south shore next to the dam wall for a spot of relaxation.

Don’t forget that dogs are very welcome and will enjoy a refreshing break in the open air as well as ample walking routes sure to impress and de-stress dog and owner alike.

With no two visits the same, a family day out at Hury inspires whatever the season. Set your imagination free as you explore the vivid flora and fauna that surrounds you in this Teesdale based haven. Hury is also the perfect spot for some epic stargazing.
