Designed and delivered by our talented team at Kielder Waterside, the upgraded space brings together stories and information about the reservoir’s history and operation, the water cycle, local wildlife, walking routes, and Kielder’s internationally recognised Dark Sky Park.
As part of the transformation, Newcastle-based graffiti artist Mark One87 from Elements Arts was commissioned to create a striking new feature around the Dark Skies screening area, transforming the walls and ceiling with artwork inspired by the night sky.

The exhibition has been designed to provide an engaging and inspiring introduction to Kielder Water & Forest Park for the thousands of visitors who come to the area each year.
