We are pleased to announce the opening of our 2023 season, which will be on Saturday 11 March at our stocked northeast trout fisheries. Our wild brown trout fisheries in Teesdale will be open on Wednesday 22 March.
Not only are we excited to be getting back to a full fishing season, but we also have the great news that our prices will be staying the same for a second year running! Although prices have risen on fish food and fuel, we did not want to pass this on, as we understand how difficult it is at this time on household incomes. We hope that you continue to support us in delivering a top angling offering to you.
Kielder Water, Fontburn, Derwent, Grassholme and Hury reservoirs will be ready and keenly waiting for anglers to arrive from 8.00am on Saturday 11 March (6.00am at Kielder Water). Full opening and closing times, and pricing can be found on the fishing pages of our website and 2023 guides will be getting uploaded in the coming week.
Throughout the year we will be looking at midweek and location specific special offers for you to enjoy, along with already offering a value permit at Kielder Waterside.
At Grassholme reservoir work is still ongoing on our spillway, so access to the north shore will be from the west end and the dam wall will also be closed to anglers and walkers until work is complete.

We can’t wait to see you all at our Waterside Parks and reservoirs again, for a fantastic year of angling. Tight lines!
