IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VISITORS AND ANGLERS

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VISITORS
Please be aware that our water levels are lower than usual so lots of unsafe ground is visible. We know you might be tempted to step onto it or want to grab a photo opportunity of the low reservoirs, but a lot of these areas are not safe and we urge all visitors to look out for’ Danger soft ground’ and ‘Restricted area’ signs.
There are lots of suitable walking areas with stunning photo opportunities for you to enjoy, to still have a fantastic day with us.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ANGLERS
Please take extra care when choosing your fishing spot, particularly at Fontburn and Derwent, with the later levels being lower than usual.
There are multiple ‘danger soft ground’ and ‘restricted area’ signs that are clearly visible, so please check and double check your surroundings before setting up.
If you have any questions or queries then please drop us a direct message or speak to our onsite teams prior to setting up.
At Derwent reservoir, due to soft ground there is no fishing to the west of Pow Hill. If accessing the site for fishing from the car park at Pow Hill the area to the left of the double gates up towards Hunter House is out of bounds.
Care should be taken when fishing from the remainder of the south shore. The north shore has good access, as does the dam wall, when fishing from the block work.
Please keep a check on our social and web pages for any further updates. Thank you
