Merry Christmas to all you fans of Lockwood Beck!
Due to a break in the work that we have been doing on the site, we can re-open for angling and general visitors from Christmas Eve.
Please note that, while the site will be open, the dam wall will remain closed until further work is carried out on the dam face in March 2021 to complete the project.
Therefore, we are unable to allow fishing from the dam wall, and walkers will not be able to do the full circular route. We know you will understand that safety must come first.
Information on how the work that begins again in March will affect visitors will be posted when full details are available.
