Water levels at Derwent Reservoir have dropped exposing large areas of dangerous soft ground making the banks on the south shore unsafe for fishing.

Your safety and comfort is our primary concern and we are sorry to inform you that we have taken the decision to close that section for fishing until further notice.

However, we are pleased to confirm that our other reservoirs remain open for fishing.

The site remains open for day visitors and we look forward to seeing you soon. During this time we would ask you to remain on the designated multi user tracks and to keep away from the shoreline.
